Meet the Board Advisors

Craig Luchtefeld is a practicing technologist with over 25 years of experience. He has advised, consulted, and volunteered for a number of organizations and non-profits in the fields of health care, education, advocacy, and wellness. Craig has worked with these organizations to create and implement digital, technical, marketing, and fundraising strategies as well as constituent/donor platforms.

Craig advocates for a healthy lifestyle, wellness, empathy, and understanding. He has been awarded several community service awards for volunteering as well as the Extraordinary/Ordinary Man of the Year for volunteering every single day in 2015.

Dr. (Vaidya) Ashwinikumar Raut is BAMS from Mumbai University and M.D. in Ayurveda, from India’s reputed B.H.U (Banaras Hindu University) in Ayurveda & Medicine. He is very passionate about research and engaged in several research programs & projects sponsored by government agencies and pharmaceutical industry.

Vaidya Ashwinikumar is a distinguished international speaker on Ayurveda, Research and Integrative Medicine and has delivered many Keynote addresses across local and international conferences, forums, consortiums and events for researchers, academicians, practitioners, students and community. He has been on faculty of teaching programs for BAMS, AD, MD-Ayurveda, M.Sc-Pharmaceutical sciences, Dietetics & Nutrition, reorientation for AYUSH teachers, Ayurveda Training institutes in USA  and ICMR training programs for pharmacology/reverse pharmacology.

He is a recipient of CDRI (Central Drug Research Institute) award for excellence in research for his work in Ayurveda & Rheumatology. He has received the International Dhanwantari Award for excellence in Ayurvedic Practice from AAPNA (Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America).

Vaidya Ashwinikumar had been a mentor; advisor & reviewer for a major academic project of digitizing Ayurveda ‘Ayusoft’ organized by CDAC.

He is an advisor to Council for Ayurveda Research, (CAR), USA, founder member and convener of ‘Vaidya Antarkar Memorial Forum’, a forum formed to carry forward the mission of scientific, rational and evidence-based Ayurveda. His meticulousness makes him a guest editor, reviewer and member of editorial board of several bio-medical and Ayurvedic journals e.g. Indian Drug, JAIM, Indian Practitioner, Journal of Mid-life Health, IJRA, JREIM, JNIMA, JCRA and several other. Vaidya Ashwinikumar has about 70 scientific publications to his credit in national and international journals of repute. Vaidya Ashwinikumar also contributes write-ups in lay press for the purpose of scientific awareness of Ayurveda amongst general community. He is a Director, Clinical Research & integrative medicine at Kasturba Health Society’s Medical Research Centre (KSH-MRC), Mumbai.

Vaidya Ashwinikumar has a substantial clinical expertise in Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine) & Rheumatology. He runs multiple Consulting and Specialty clinics in Mumbai and suburbs. Vaidya Ashwinikumar is a senior advisor, investigator and consultant for many clinical investigations and projects and engaged with various Government of India Departments viz. Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Council for Scientific & Industrial research (CSIR), Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR).

Philippa Norman is a graduate of the AP program at Ananda Ayurveda Academy. As an Integrative Physician she has always embraced a holistic approach and embarked on a study of Ayurveda several years ago. She is grateful for the teachings of Ayurveda she has received from Dr. Ashlesha Raut and other faculty, and for being a part of the growing community of Ananda students. 

Dr. Aditya Save is an entrepreneur, executive coach & an educator. He has almost 25 years of corporate experience across consumer goods, healthcare, and digital technology companies. As a business coach, mentor, and angel investor, he works with founders and young companies & teams helping them grow their businesses faster than the markets they exist in. His experience straddles business strategy, consumer & data insights, marketing & communication as well as GTM strategy for new-age businesses.

Dr. Save’s doctoral thesis focused on consumer psychology in digital businesses. His papers have been published in WARC & the IDM in the UK. He has delivered keynotes at industry forums in Singapore, Delhi & London and continues to serve on several prestigious award juries. He has designed, structured, and delivered courses for postgraduate students in the domain of Marketing and the impact of Digital on business. As a Trustee at CRDE, he is shaping the content universe for Indian educators, to make teachers even more capable of tackling contemporary topics.

Vaidya Avinash Lele was a Medical Director of Janaki Clinic & Panchakarma Centre for 35 years.

He was also a Chief Ayurvedic Physician at Atreya Ayurved Panchakarma Centre for 40 years.

Vaidya Lele has been travelling around the world since 1994 to treat patients as well as to give lectures, workshops, seminars & courses on Ayurveda.  He has authored number of books on Ayurveda, some of them have been translated in many foreign languages.

Some of his popular publications are Bahuguni Avala, Panchakarma & Ayurvedic Massage, Secrets of Marma.

He is a recognized Graduate teacher since 1978 and post graduate teacher since 1983 at various Ayurvedic colleges in India. 

Ruturaj is a former chef, proficient with 14 years of culinary operations. With a strong experience in culinary operations, his next opportunity came in Healthcare. He is now part of operations management with a leading hospital in Canada. 

Ruturaj recently chose a vegetarian diet and loves to promote healthy dietary choices. He loves to cook for his family and friends. His culinary philosophy and passion reflect cooking with organic produce towards a healthier and naturally nutritional diet.

Mayuresh is a finance professional with more than 15 years of corporate experience in Fortune 100 companies in the US banking sector. His work primarily covers areas of product strategy, lending policy, and decision sciences. Mayuresh has also worked in the startup space in San Francisco where he helped create the lending strategy for the first and the largest peer-to-peer lending fintech in the country. 

He has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a master's degree in industrial engineering and operations research. 

Data enthusiast with 6+ years of industry (finance and e-commerce) experience having a knack for blending in both functional and technical aspects for driving data-driven decisions to shape the customer experience.

A self-motivated and result-oriented individual having a structured approach to solving problems.

She is passionate about learning the intricacies of data engineering and analytics; and how these skills can be tactfully implemented to solve complex business problems and deduce useful insights.
